Here are some ways you can help:
1. Please like and share the Cure Me Too Childhood Cancer Foundation Facebook page!
2. Be Proactive!
- Become a Student Ambassador – Help spread the word of the need for childhood cancer funding in your school or community; hold a fundraiser – even a small one! Every dollar counts!
- Raise awareness and funds in your business or organization. Wear hats in honor of the kids who lose their hair, host a dress down day, give up your specialty coffee for a week, wear gold and decorate with gold, bake brownies for bone cancer, or spread awareness and raise funds during any already scheduled event you have planned!
Please let us know if you plan to hold a fundraiser so we can help!
3. Be Directly Involved!
You can be directly involved in the treatment of childhood cancer (as well as many diseases) by being a blood or blood platelet donor and encouraging others to do the same. One cancer patient may receive not just one transfusion, but countless life-saving transfusions. Don’t forget: While you’re donating blood, ask about joining the bone marrow registry! It’s so simple to join the registry – but absolutely critical in the treatment of some cancers.
4. GO GOLD!
Most people do not know that the GOLD RIBBON stands for childhood cancer. September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, is the month to share your gold on Facebook and anywhere else. More awareness = more funding = more research = more lives saved. Consider a gold ribbon luminary display in your community! Watch our Gold Ribbon video (by Annina):
